The beautiful Roselyn Sanchez and Eric Winter got married at the San Cristobal fort in San Juan, Puerto Rico this Saturday. 250 guests were in attendance including Eva Longoria-Parker. According to People, “The Puerto Rican-born Sanchez wore a princess-style dress with hand-embroidered pearls and diamonds by Venezuelan designer Angel Sanchez, while Winter wore a Calvin Klein suit.” Sanchez also recently said that the secret to a drama-free relationship is to be your spouse’s best friend and not to suffocate them. The couple is expected to honeymoon in the Mayan Riviera. They make a truly stunning couple. Congratulations to them both!

Dancing with the Stars’ Julianna Hough definitely wants to marry her boyfriend of five months, country singer, Chuck Wicks. She told people, “We definitely want to go there. The minute we met it was perfect. The first date we had we both had that feeling like we were going to fall in love with each other.”

In other news, could you imagine waiting until marriage to even kiss your husband? Well, that’s what this couple did. Claudaniel (30) and Melody (28) Fabien are both abstinence teachers in Chicago and they practice what they preach so well that in order to resist temptation, they agreed to wait until the minister said “You may now kiss the bride” to share their first kiss. That’s some crazy strong resolve!

• Newlywed Ryan Reynolds gets some hilarious (but so true) marriage advice from Michael J. Fox on the Rachael Ray show. “Just remember this,” Fox warned his friend, “If a man says something in the forest and his wife isn’t there to hear him, he’s still wrong.” An apt pupil, Reynolds quickly agreed: “Well said!”
  
• Here’s a first look at Melanie Brown (Scary Spice)’s vow renewal ceremony in Egypt. Mel B. sold the exclusive rights of her wedding to OK! Magazine and supposedly took home $400,000.
  
• Access Hollywood caught up with Jennifer Love Hewitt and they got a peek into her wedding planning. A year ago the actress got engaged to her boyfriend Ross McCall and the two are happily planning their ceremony. Since McCall is Scottish, there will definitely be bagpipes somewhere in the ceremony, but don’t expect to see him in a kilt! Hewitt will be sporting a “simple” dress and she confirmed that she plans to have kids with her future husband. I can’t wait to see pics of this ceremony!
  
• Hugh Hefner’s ex-girlfriend Kendra Wilkinson did not waste any time! The former Girls Next Door star has announced her engagement which took place last weekend to NFL star Hank Baskett, a wide receiver for the Philadephia Eagles. According to Hefner, he plans to give away his ex at a ceremony that is to be held at the Playboy Mansion next June. He claims to be happy for his ex flame and is happy that she has found love outside the mansion.
  
• In related news, Holly Madison, Hef’s ex and former number one girl has declared that she better be a bridesmaid. She says that Wilkinson is crazy over her new fiance, and it seems as if this Playboy bunny has also found love in illusionist Criss Angel.
  
• In other news, perhaps not celebrity wedding related (but exciting nonetheless), a Sex and the City sequel is in the works!! Kim Cattrall aka Samantha Jones has confirmed that writers are at work on a follow-up to this summer’s hit movie where Carrie married Big! There, I knew I could find a tidbit about weddings somewhere in there! Though negotiations are not finalized, I have hope that the sequel will be out soon!
  
• On her recent engagement to Swiss financier, Arpad Busson, Uma Thurman can only say that she’s excited, optimistic and joyful. Aww! I can’t wait to see what the wedding between these two looks like. Uma is gorgeous! By the way, the rest of the interview with In Style has some excellent quotes.
  
• It looks like we won’t get to see pictures of Beyonce and Jay-Z’s super secret wedding. The singer has admitted that her husband and her are extremely private people and that they were shocked by how much money has been offered for their wedding pictures. She says that if she were to share them it would be because she wants to and not because of the money. Looks like Beyonce is staying strong so far.
  
• Justin Timberlake is not getting married anytime soon it seems. When reporters asked if he and Jessica Biel had any plans to get married, he responded, “Now that’s a dumb question.” Will JT ever settle down?

• …for the first piece of news, I must offer a hearty congratulations to our new president– our first African American president– Barack Obama and our lovely new first lady: Michelle Obama! Isn’t that a great wedding picture?
  

• Actress, Soleil Moon Frye and producer Jason Goldberg renewed their vows last weekend for their 10th wedding anniversary. Demi Moore, Ashton Kutcher, and Eric Dane were among the guests. The ceremony was held at sunset in the couple’s garden amid roses, hydrangeas, and gardenias. The reception feast was home-cooked and included brisket and pasta, as well as white cake with chocolate filling. The couple’s two children, Poet and Jagger participated in the ceremony by planting a pomegranate tree in their honor. Guests were sent home with their own tree to plant as wedding favors.
  
• Here’s a picture of former Spice Girl Mel. B (aka Scary Spice) shopping for her wedding gown at Monique Lhullier in Hollywood. I’d previously reported that she’s set to renew her vows in Egypt, and it seems as if the planning is in full swing!
  
• Olympic gold medalist Picabo Street married John Reeser on Oct. 25 at Alabama’s Prospect Mountain. The bride wore a Monique Lhullier gown and the couple wed in front of 100 guests. This will be the first marriage for both.
  
• Jamie Dugan and Erik Huffman– two competitors from Survivor China recently got engaged and won an $80,000 wedding courtesy of the Charleston Area Convention and Visitors Bureau in Charleston, South Carolina. The pair grew up 25 miles apart in South Carolina, but didn’t meet until the show. The wedding is scheduled for April 4, 2009 and will be chock full of reality show guests. Many congratulations to them!
  
• Carmen Electra and Rob Patterson are recently engaged, but that doesn’t mean they’ll be rushing down the aisle anytime soon. The actress states that they’re taking things slow for now.
  
• Even though Enrique Iglesias and Anna Kournikova have been dating since 2002, there are no wedding bells in their future. Enrique recently opened up about their relationship and stated that even though Anna is his dream woman, he’s not it for her. She has even gone so far as to state that he’s probably just a guy she wants to date for a few years. He must be very much in love to stick with it even after that. They do make a great couple, though, so hopefully they’ll figure it out.

• Patrick Dempsey hints that there will be wedding bells in the future for Dr. McDreamy and Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo) on Grey’s Anatomy this season. I guess we’ll have to tune in and see!
  
• Victoria’s Secret angel, Adriana Lima is set to marry her Memphis Grizzlies star Marko Jaric. The model says that they will marry in her native country, Brazil, to be close to her family, since she is the only daughter.
  
• Newlywed Mariah Carey gushes that married life is “amazing!” For all you ladies planning your weddings out there, there is a light at the end of the tunnel!
  
• Newly engaged Ali Larter and Hayes MacArthur had a party to celebrate their good news this weekend at the Sunset Tower Hotel. The two have been dating for five years, but in his toast to his future wife-to-be, MacArthur fondly referenced their times on the set of the movie Homo Erectus in 2007, where they were each clothed in little more than scraps of fabric. Now if loin cloths don’t spell love, I don’t know what does!
  
• Nelly Furtado is married! The singer secretly wed producer Demacio “Demmo” Castellon back in July and finally confirmed the news in an interview with Entertainment Tonight Canada.
  
• Life & Style magazine is reporting that Bruce Willis and Emma Hemings, his girlfriend of 8 months were spotted shopping for engagement rings. If the news is true, congratulations to the happy couple!
  
• Speaking of engagements, Rose McGowan announced her engagement to boyfriend and director Robert Rodriguez at last weekend’s Hollywood Style Awards. Their wedding is set to take place sometime in 2009.
